Staining, sealing or waterproofing are there mostly for one reason, to protect wood and stone materials from weather exposure. Deck or patio, fence or shingle siding of the house need to be protected with stain or sealer, which shoud be applied every 3 to 5 years. It also helps to fight with mold and mildew. Whether it is rain or sun, there are many products on the market to protect and at the same time to decorate your house in all color variety.

For concrete, slate, tiles, bricks, unfinished colored stucco and other porous stone materials there are clear sealant with silicone base on the market, that seals the surface, without changing appearance. It protects from moisture coming into your house, especially on the older structures.

For wood, shingles, decks and fences there are clear and colored stains with different opacity levels.
